Anna Maria Island is located on Florida's west coast, just south of Tampa and near Sarasota and Bradenton. The island is located on the Gulf of Mexico and features white sand beaches that stretch for miles along the gulf.

If fishing is what you're interested in, you have many options. You can fish from the beaches, from the fishing piers in Anna Maria and Bradenton Beach, or on many of the fishing charter boats available in the area.
